Kite Point is located on the sound side on a popular beach much known to kiteboarders. In between Avon and Buxton the area holds solid conditions for kiteboarding in the late fall and spring months. Normally parking was on the side of the highway but they have opened up a hard packed surf
March – Nov. is the season here but you can kite year round with the proper wetsuit.
Beware of the power lines – they are extremely close to the shore so be careful when riding close to the shoreline or launching and landing.
This is a great flat water riding location. The water here is very shallow which makes this spot beginner friendly as well as great for people progressing or throwing down epic tricks.
