The Slick is Cape Hatteras premium flat water kiteboarding location. From the slider park to flat water this spot is great for beginners to intermediate riders!
Wind Direction
The best wind direction for this location is SW and the main directions it usually blows here is SW and NE. When the wind is SW it comes over the small island and offers a buttery flat condition. It usually starts to blow here in the afternoon and can continue through till sunset. A W wind offers a fun run up north to the south island!
